Our Story

Rather than saving my maternity leave pay, my husband and I invested it into our dream — building a life and brand together. That dream became Made to Cover, a buttery soft leisurewear label designed for everyone, through all stages and phases of life.
“MADE” represents the beginning of our journey, combining the first letters of our names and reminding us why we started.
 
As a former Australian athlete and PDHPE teacher, activewear has always been my everyday — so comfort, function, and movement are at the core of everything I create.
 
After having three children, I experienced firsthand how challenging breastfeeding clothing could be. Getting out of the house felt overwhelming, and feeding on the go often meant discomfort and constant outfit changes.
 
During maternity leave, I questioned why it had to be so hard. Breastfeeding is demanding enough — clothing shouldn’t add to it.
 
That’s where Made to Cover began — creating effortless, supportive pieces to help mums feel confident and comfortable wherever they are.
From there, we opened our store in Forster, NSW and expanded into a full buttery soft leisurewear range for everyone.
